Pauline Adell McClurg, age 73, passed away at home in Anaheim, California on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

Born April 8, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, the youngest daughter of Irma and Fred Garcia, she was born at home and quickly placed in a bassinet on the oven door for warmth. Pauline overcame adversity in life with compassion, caring, and love. Her life began fraught with ill health but she surmounted her frailties and by the end of her teens had become an accomplished dancer winning trophies and later becoming a dance instructor. Pauline loved to cook and enjoyed get togethers with family and friends. She brought love and fun to every occasion. Her love for travel led her to circumnavigate the globe on two different occasions. She lived in Saudi Arabia from 1978 to 1981 and had a love and appreciation for Arabian culture and art. Pauline loved animals and treated her pets Odie, Peanut, and Blanca as her own children. Her family she loved most of all and would give all of herself equally and wholeheartedly.

She is survived by her sister Mary Louise Wilder, her sons Rick F. Garcia, James D. Innocente Sr., Mark C. Garcia and her daughter Irma D. Divincenzo. Her grandchildren all of whom brought her great joy: Dada Sheena Innocente, Andreana E. Divincenzo, Mailee Shapiro Innocente, Gino F. Divincenzo, James D. Innocente Jr., Brooklyn E. Cecere.

O God the faults are mine. I have stumbled and fell, tripped and crawled got up and walked again! Because of you I am on my feet once more. If I hold on tight, walk straight and don't let go, I know I'll make it all the way. Why did it take me so long to know that You were always there? Soon peace and joy will overcome me. Everything else will fade away forever and I will be walking with my Lord. -Pauline McClurg 1988
